A. This is your router. The Air Advantage Internet service goes into Internet/WAN/Modem port of this device. The router allows you to share your Air Advantage Internet service with additional wired and/or wireless devices.
B. This is the power connection on the router. It simply plugs into an electrical outlet in your home or office. You may need to reboot your router at some point. to do this, unplug the power connection from your router for 15 seconds.
C. This is the "power supply" for the Air Advantage Internet service. Our equipment is powered by this connection. This connection also supplies your Internet service. The power supply can NOT be attached to a "LAN" port of your router; it MUST be connected to the Internet, WAN or Modem port.
D. This cord goes directly to your computer. These connections are normally used for desktop PCs. While laptops and other mobile devices can utilize a wireless router's wireless connection, they can also be plugged into the router in this way.
Once your computer has a wired connection to the router, you may open Internet Explorer (or your favorite web browser) and enter the address for the router's configuration page. This address is normally 192.168.1.1. For each individual router, look in the User's Guide or on the bottom of the router to see the default address and default administration login information.

After entering the correct address you should immediately be prompted for your login information, found either in your User Guide or on the bottom of your router.

After entering the correct Username and Password, the Welcome page or Basic Setting page should appear. On this page, you should ensure the settings are set to obtain IP address and DNS addresses automatically (DHCP).

With those settings set to automatic, you should already have a connection to the Internet. Enjoy!
